About Six Dot Consulting
Six Dot Consulting was set up by Keith and Emma Ryan in 2011 to draw on Keith's vast experience and knowledge within the Sport and Recreation industry. Keith worked for Sport and Recreation Tasmania for 9 years and during that time developed specific skills in recreation planning with a particular emphasis on trails, mountain biking and bicycle planning.

Before starting Six Dot Consulting Keith 'put his toe in the water' working with the Tamanian Parks and Wildlife Service to prepare track strategies for the Trevallyn and Kate Reed Nature Recreation Areas. These track strategies formed the basis for a successful application for $300,000 in trail funding by the Launceston Mountain Bike Club. These trails have recently been completed and well received by users of both reserves. Keith also prepared the Bike Plan for Launceston City Council in 2004. This document formed the basis of more recent bicycle planning and considerable investment in bicycle infrastructure across the City.

At six dot consulting we practice what we preach. We see the intrinsic value of sport, recreation, leisure and physical activity to individuals, families and communities. We also recognise the importance of work life balance and the important role that family plays in people’s lives.
